Store Policies/Returns

 

 

While we do offer Refunds and Credits, ALL Returns are determined on a case by case basis.

No Returns Accepted for products purchased during the Inventory Liquidation Sale! (10/3/11 through 12/31/11).

 

Please contact us within three days if there is a problem with your order.

 

We will accept no katanas or swords that have been used in any cutting exercise!  The blade must be in unused condition, completely virgin and must NEVER have had anything spilled on it, especially Blood.  

Upon arrival of any returns, these Katanas will undergo an expert evaluation.  If they fail this examination, the katana will be shipped back to you at your expense.  These katanas must be returned in their complete original packaging, do not throw out any of your packing materials unless you are sure that you are going to keep it.  The sword must be shipped back at the Buyers expense, and if it does not pass inspection , Buyer will pay shipping expenses to get it back. No sword will receive a refund unil we are able to judge that it is in saleable condition.  Shipping fees will not be refunded, In the event that you had free shipping on your sword, the cost of our shipping will be adjusted from your refund.

There will be a 17.9% Restocking Fee deducted from all refunds on all returned merchandise. This equates to a 15% restocking fee and a 2.9% cost of transaction surcharge.  These fees will be waived in the case of an exchange.

We apologize for all of these rules.  But we must protect our clients and our products.

B. For any and all returns a Return Authorization Number (RMA#) must first be obtained before any merchandise can be returned, otherwise returns will not be accepted.

C. No call tags will be issued for returns. All packages must be sent directly to Destiny Blade.

D. Your return must include a copy of the invoice showing the item(s) you are returning and the reason for return.

E. Only merchandise having a manufacturer's defect will be accepted for replacement or credit.   Misused or improperly
cared for products will not be accepted. All returns will be replaced with the identical product returned unless the item is unavailable in which case credit will be issued.

NOTE: Destiny Blade is not obligated to accept any merchandise returned after 3 days from purchase. All defective claims must be made within 3 days from receipt of merchandise or be subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Shipping Terms

A.We try to use the USPS for most of our shipments. It is cost efficient for our clients and they deliver on Saturday.  For those larger orders, UPS Ground will be used, Expedited services are available upon request.

B. All shipping costs are calculated for the United States only.  International clients,  please contact us for a quote on shipping.  We can not be held responsible for improper calculations on out of country shipping, if processed through the shipping calculator. 

C. Due to postal regulations, we may not be able to ship to certain countries.  Please contact us before purchasing your product.

D. FREE Shipping, when offered, is only available in the continental United States.

 

Privacy Policy

Destiny Blade holds your private information in high regard.  We will never release your information to anyone not directly related to your purchase.  We want you to know that your information is safe with us, and that it will not be abused or mistreated in any way. 


Release, Assumption of Risk, Waiver of Liability, and Indemnity Agreement


Must be 18 years of age or older to purchase items.  Buyer agrees that by purchasing any item, their purchase signifies their acceptance of the rules herein, and that the purchaser is at least 18 years of age.
By purchasing any item sold by Destiny Blade,  the buyer expressly warrants that he/she is in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations regarding the purchase, ownership, and use of the item. It shall be the buyer's responsibility to comply with all Federal, State and Local laws governing the sale of any items listed, illustrated or sold. The buyer expressly agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Destiny Blade and its owners and principals, for all claims resulting directly or indirectly from the purchase, ownership,  use or mis-use of the item in or out of violation of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws or regulations. Buy placing your order, the buyer expressly agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Destiny Blade and its owners and principals, for all claims resulting directly or indirectly from the purchase, ownership, use or mis-use of the item.

Return Policy

A. We are not responsible for losses or damages sustained in transit. ALL orders are sent Insured.  If there is any loss or damage, the claim will go through the carrier.  We will do our best to help you if any loss or damage is sustained.
