Of Samurai and Swords

Throughout history, there has been no edged weapon enveloped with such an air of mystery and tradition like the Japanese sword.  The sword is so strongly connected to the Japanese samurai, that it became known as the"Soul of the Samurai".  It was both a weapon and an icon, religiously forged, and handled with heroic ability.  A sword that was forged by a renowned master was one of the most valued and respected gifts that a warrior could receive.

The swords that we have here in our shoppe, are hand forged by master craftsmen with years of experience.  These master sword smiths combine modern knowledge with traditional secrects to produce superior quality swords with enhanced durability, sharpness, and exquisite craftmanship.

What does all of this have to do with your picking a sword to purchase?  We just want you to know that we believe in putting quality on our shelves.  Swords that can be used for traditional ceremonies, training, and for cutting techniques (tameshigiri).  We recommend that you always have a trained instructor or teacher supervise when performing cutting techniques.  This is for your safety.
